Murder Please, Maestro

Theatre event by the Skellig Theatre Company

About the event

You are cordially invited to the grand final of the prestigious Sangster International Piano Competition, at Holsten Castle, the ancestral home of Sir Bernard Holsten, the competition's sponsor.

Before the tension and excitement of the event, the finalists, judges, and distinguished members of the musical glitterati have gathered for a friendly soiree, hosted by Lady Antonia Sangster … but will the event be a Convivial Concerto or Revengeful Requiem?

On Saturday 1 August, at 3pm, The Old Barracks doubles up as grand manor-house Holsten Beeches to become the scene of a murder investigation … An investigation where YOU help bumbling Inspector Dawlish of the Yard bring the culprit to justice. Over the course of one hour, clues are uncovered, questions are asked, and deductions are made – as well as some truly horrendous opera singing – enough to drive someone to murder, maybe?

And the suspects? Four characters emerge … and you get to ask the questions, study the physical evidence and – finally – make your accusation! Will you make the right choice or will the killer get away with it?

The event is run by Skellig Theatre Company and Huw Jones, who ran his own professional murder mystery company, Dastardly Entertainment, in Hampshire before settling here in Cahersiveen.

Places are strictly limited, so don't wait too long and book here!
