Alice Dennehy is a professional photographer based in her hometown of Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry.
She began her career in New York, working for many years in the darkroom and in the imaging department at Condé Nast (formerly Fairchild Publications).
She later established herself as a commercial photographer. Her work has been published in many books and magazines. Her images are held in private collections across the world, as well as in government buildings throughout Ireland. Her photography gallery on Main Street, Cahersiveen is open for visitors.
Alice’s newest exhibition "Home Town" is driven by a deep interest in people and their connection to place—capturing moments that are fleeting, yet rich with quiet meaning. Through each image, she seeks to reveal the subtle stories found in everyday life.
